Using talking, art and play therapies, we will uncover how your child is feeling and develop strategies to help them feel better and manage their behaviours and emotions.
Anything they need help with,
we are here for them and for you.
It simply means I have trained and qualified in more than one style of counselling. After studying for a degree in psychology, I then studied Psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavoural Therapy) and Visual Art Therapy. Diplomas in Resettlement, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) and Child Counselling complete my counselling tool bag allowing me to use these modalities together or separately to ensure I offer the support and guidance you specifically need for your healing journey.
Child & Teenage Anxiety is on the increase. Identifying and addressing difficulties surrounding an anxious mindset can prevent this becoming a life long problem.
Bereavement Support is needed when grief is overwhelming & affecting your daily life.
ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). I work with Adults & Children who have been formally diagnosed or are seeking diagnosis, creating coping strategies & life skills to manage the amazingly diverse characteristics of this disorder.
Self Healing Support
During the first session we will discuss your needs, wants and thoughts about counselling along with where you are in your life right now. We can discuss ways forward and use this as a starting point for further counselling or to move onto the Andla self healing programme if appropriate.

An hours session along beautiful pathways ~ walking, talking and breathing. I have found this gentle approach to counselling which includes nature and movement enriches the session, boosts energy levels, promotes a positive mood and relieves anxiety & stress.
Suitable for all fitness levels. Available in Derbyshire & Leicestershire.
Using talking, art and creative materials we will explore your child's feelings , thoughts and experiences to help your child make sense of what's going on in their life and find ways to cope when things are difficult. enabling them to establish healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for the future.
First session includes a take home kitbag with worksheets & props for expressing emotions safely and relieving anxiety. This kitbag is added to in future sessions to ensure continued use.
This Kickstart Session for clients wishing to begin a self healing journey is perfect for those who have tried counselling before or who wish to try a more gentle approach to improving their mental wellbeing.
You will be sent home with worksheets, ideas to encourage you into healing nature & strategies to manage symptoms in difficult situations.
Ongoing email support & daily text affirmations can be added +£15 month which ensures you stay motivated and fully supported on your healing journey.
I work with up to three clients who are unable to pay the full fee. These clients pay a reduced fee of £10. Please get in touch if you would like to make an appointment but are unable to pay the full fee and I will see you but there may be a short wait. Do not let being unable to afford the fees be your stumbling block to healing.
